I will say this till the day I die, the four direct to vhs movies go down in quality each time. Now no one rip my head off you can go down in quality without dipping, zombie island is a 100, with witches ghost still getting an A at a 99 or 98, the points go down for the oh the witch is fake, but wait for the last 10 it’s real. As alien invaders gets an high B at 88 because is keeps to that formula as everything is fake but the last few minutes they are real. With cyber chase getting a 70 because why the monster is real it’s still basically a guy under a mask since it was made by a guy instead of the cat god curse or trapped in a spell book or in a human disguise

So just to iterate, The Nightmare Before Christmas is not a Tim Burton movie. He only wrote and produced the film. Henry Selick (Coraline, James and The Giant Peach) directed The Nightmare Before Christmas. I mean just because Burton's name is in the title, doesn't make it his movie. Of course, he was originally gonna direct Nightmare but due to a lot of scheduling conflicts with directing Batman Returns, he didn't have time so he chose Selick who was a good friend of Burton when they were at CalArts to direct it instead.

I think one of the most bizarre thing this Film created was some Online Users weird Obsession with Robyn. I have no idea how it was caused, but trust my ludicrous words. Also, Film was oddly paced usually slow, Tom + Jerry having VA is such an odd thing - but its not as bad as manh make it, uh... 6/10.

To your confusion about the incongruent game plot, it seemed there was a break down of communication for a lot of extra material like books and games somewhere along the pipeline. For example, there’s a picture book that uses screenshots from the movie and everything is the same except once we get to the scene in the enclosure Mumble’s model is his original planned adult model rather than the final one we get in the film. It stays that way for the rest of the book. If things were really changed so close to completion then I wouldn’t be shocked if someone forgot to update the studio developing the game or the people in charge or putting together the picture book.
